Area Trained: Shoulders
Technique
- Stand holding a dumbbell in your left hand by your side and one in your right resting on the front of your thigh, palms facing in.
- Simultaneously take your left arm out to the side and right out to the front, until your hands are level with your shoulders, keeping your elbows straight but not locked.
- Lower both arms slowly back to the start position.
Beginners repeat for 15 seconds then alternate hand positions and repeat for a further 15 seconds intermediate repeat for 20 seconds on each side, advanced for 25 seconds each side.
