Why do it?
Bringing your hands closer together transfers the focus of this move away from the chest and on to the triceps – making it a great move for building big upper arms.
How to do it!
- Lie flat on a bench and hold a barbell using an overhand grip, about a fist-width apart, with arms fully extended.
- Keep your body flat on the bench, and your feet flat on the floor.
- Lower the bar slowly, keeping your elbows close your sides.
- Push up powerfully, but dont lock out your elbows.
