Close Grip Lat Pull-Down

Sit and face the machine with knees positioned under the pads.

  • Inhale and bring the handle to the sternum while the chest and leaning slightly back with the torso.
  • Exhale at the end of the movement.

 

 

This exercise develops the latissimus dorsel and teres major.

When the shuolder blades come together, the trapezius and the posterior deltoid contract.

As with every pulling exercise, the bicep branchii and branchialis contract, and when the palms face each other, the branchioradialis contract.
